Dear Fellow Citizens of St. Johns County, Welcome to my re-election campaign website for 2008. In 2004 I was elected Sheriff and was humbled to receive 72% of the primary vote and 95% of the general election vote. It is my sincere hope that I have lived up to the expectations of not only those citizens that voted for me but indeed all of our citizens. After spending my entire adult life in municipal government where running for office was not part of the equation; I must say that serving the public in an elected capacity for the past 4 years has been both rewarding and challenging. After much personal thought and reflection with my family, I have decided to seek another term to serve again as your Sheriff, though we have made tremendous progress in achieving our goals there is much left to be done. The purpose of this website is to provide you with information regarding my re-election candidacy.
